Dump Pouch (fold magazine recovery)
The Dump Pouch is an important element of tactical gear that helps the operator to stash empty (or partially empty) magazines blindly and instinctively, rather than dropping them on the ground when reloading. In a combat situation, fighters do not have time to put things back in their modular bags and pouches. Therefore, mag recovery pouches are not only used to store automatic, semi-automatic and shotgun magazines, but also machine-gun belts, flashlights, multitools and many other items. Hofner magazine recovery pouch is rolled up flat to a compact size and does not take up much space on the gear when patrolling, but it turns into a roomy multi-purpose bag when required. The elastic tightening cord prevents the carried contents from falling out of the pouch. The attachment points allow easy and secure mounting of the dump pouch to any tactical or regular belt, as well as to any MOLLE-compatible equipment and gear, and if necessary, its quick and easy detachment.
